Grilled Cabbage

Found this in a book in the history of and as I think cooked cabbage is very under rated I thought I needed to share.
Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage shopping list
- cream cheese shopping list
- butter shopping list
- Minced garlic shopping list
- salt & pepper shopping list
- Grated Romano and parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Core cabbage (not all the way through)
- Layer Ingredients and pack into core
- Salt & pepper, Butter & garlic, Grated Romano and Parmesan cheese, and Cream cheese.
- Repeat layers and top with Cream cheese
- Pack it as tight as you can.
- Wrap in foil and place on grill core side up.
- The directions say directly over coals but I would argue for indirect and longer cooking
- Cook until tender.
