How to make it

  • Make cooked rice.

  • In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, and wine (or apple juice or water) until smooth.
  • Add beef and toss to coat, set aside.

  • In large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods, and onion in
  • 1 Tbsp. oil for 1 minute.
  • Stir in water chestnuts
  • Cover and simmer for 4 mins., then remove and keep warm.
  • In the same skilet, stir-fry beef in remaining oil until desired doneness.
  • Return vegetables to pan, toss.
  • Serve over rice.

    Loved the chinese pepper venison on white rice sold at this seafood court . But your recipe is new to me . Thx , would love to try it soon .
