Flavorful Venison Or Beef Stir Fry Recipe
This is a quick meal to bring to the table. Just prepare the stir-fry to spread over rice!

Ingredients
  • cooked rice
  • ______________________
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. soy sauce (I use light)
  • 1/4c. white wine, apple juice, OR water
  • ______________________
  • 1 lb. steak, cut into thin strips (or boneless round steak, strips)
  • 3 c. broccoli florets
  • 2 med. carrots, thinly sliced at an angle
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) frozen pea pods, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • ______________________
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil, divided
  • ______________________
  • 1- 8oz. can sliced water chestnuts,undrained

Directions
  1. Make cooked rice.
  2. _____________________
  3. In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, and wine (or apple juice or water) until smooth.
  4. Add beef and toss to coat, set aside.
  5. ____________________
  6. In large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods, and onion in
  7. 1 Tbsp. oil for 1 minute.
  8. Stir in water chestnuts
  9. Cover and simmer for 4 mins., then remove and keep warm.
  10. In the same skilet, stir-fry beef in remaining oil until desired doneness.
  11. Return vegetables to pan, toss.
  12. Serve over rice.
