This is a salad my next door neighbor just recently served at her church dinner party. She said it was a big hit with the ladies...

Zena, I've recently been making this recipe quite often. You are so right, everyone just loves it! I made it for a luncheon this past weekend and everybody requested the recipe. It is sooooo yummy! :)

You absolutely can't go wrong with this recipe.
I recommend toasting the nuts and caramalizing
the brown suger before putting on top of the salad. My recipe called for 4 lbs. of each kind
of grapes. I usually just fill to the top of an
attractive glass bowl.

I used to make this type of salad, but had lost the recipe. This is IT! I use WALNUTS instead of pecans just because I like grapes and walnuts together (both grow on my parents farm in southeast Ohio).
Thanks for posting it so I could find it again!

We made this for the first time last Thanksgiving and it's now a staple for family gatherings! Easy to make and so good I like it for dessert!

I've made a similar salad but I add orange zest! Everyone devours it instantly!
