Strawberry Syrup

- 8 oz. strawberry juice (from canned or pulverized and strained strawberries) shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp strawberry flavoring shopping list
How to make it
- Put all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until liquid comes to a boil.
- Turn down heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add more sugar if you want a thicker syrup.
- When your syrup is the thickness you desire, turn off heat and let cool.
- Pour into bottle with a screw-on cap.
- This will keep for several months on the cupboard shelf.
- *You can use this on pancakes, waffles, to make smoothies, strawberry milk, on ice cream or in recipes.
