How to make it

  • Put all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring until liquid comes to a boil.
  • Turn down heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add more sugar if you want a thicker syrup.
  • When your syrup is the thickness you desire, turn off heat and let cool.
  • Pour into bottle with a screw-on cap.
  • This will keep for several months on the cupboard shelf.
  • *You can use this on pancakes, waffles, to make smoothies, strawberry milk, on ice cream or in recipes.
