How to make it

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is soft. Add the mince; cook until browned. Add corriander, cumin and paprika, cook until most of the liquid has evaporated. Stir in nuts, rind juice and fresh herbs; season with salt and pepper. Cool.
  • Cut phyllo sheets in half lengthwise; cover with a damp towel.
  • Working with one piece at a time, brush with butter; spoon 1T of beef mixture along one short end. Roll up tightly tucking in ends.
  • Repeat with remaining phyllo.
  • Place on loned baking trays; brush tops with butter.
  • Cook at 200C for about 10 mins

    Thanks for the 5 on the Beef Fingers, and the nice comments on my recipes. I am suprised there isn't a conversion chart on this website...it would be a useful tool wouldn't it.

    This recipe sounds so good!I like alot of your recipes, I just wish there was something to click on to change all the measurements to U.S...I see the Euro measurements alot on this site, but I don't see a way to convert them.

    These sound great Deb! I bet that you can make these ahead and freeze them too and then just take out as many as you need.
