Strawberry Chocolate Farm Cake

The mild flavour of the chocolate cream hits the right note with strawberries . We couldn't wait for the cake to set * wink wink *
Ingredients
- 200 ml whipping cream , whipped shopping list
- ......................................................................................... shopping list
- 1 1/2 C cake flour and 1 tsp baking pwd , sifted shopping list
- 125 g butter shopping list
- 1 C Castor sugar shopping list
- 2 egg whites and yolks shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 C luke warm water and 3 tbsp full cream milk , mixed shopping list

- 250 g cream cheese shopping list
- 75 g caster sugar shopping list
- 75 g dark baking chocolate , melted in 4 tbsp milk / cream shopping list
- 1 tbsp gelatin pwd mixed in 5 tbsp water , mixed until dissolved shopping list

- 200 g strawberries blend shopping list
- 100 g caster sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp gelatin mixed in 5 tbsp water and dissolved shopping list

- almonds dipped in white chocolate shopping list
- hazelnut dipped in dark chocolate shopping list
- ............................................................................................. shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat the oven to 180 deg .
- Beat the butter and sugar until creamy .
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla .
- Fold in the flour and milk alt. starting and finishing with the flour .
- Fold in the beaten egg whites .
- Pour in a cake pan and bake for 35 mins

- Beat cream cheese with sugar till smooth with a flat knife .
- Add 3/4 portion of the whipped cream .
- Add melted chocolate and stir till well .
- Mix the gelatin and mix well .
- Pour on top of the cake and chill .

- Blend strawberries to puree .
- Add the 1/4 of the whipped cream .
- Add sugar , gelatin . Mix well .
- Pour this mixture on top of the chocolate cheese cream
- Chill until set .
- Decorate
- It may take 4 to 6 hours
