In the time I was a bartender, I made up a good number of popular drinks. I wanted to mix something that reminded me of Orange Crush soda.

Ingredients
  • Absolut Mandarin Vodka
  • Patron Citronge or Cointreau
  • Fresh squeezed orange juice (yes "fresh squeezed" means FRESH)
  • Redbull energy drink
  • Simple syrup

Directions
  1. In a shaker add:
  2. 1 1/2 to 2 ounces Absolut Mandarin vodka
  3. Splash of Patron Citronge or Cointreau
  4. Dash of simple syrup
  5. 1 ounce orange juice
  6. Shake well with ice
  7. Strain into martini glass
  8. Fill with Redbull
  9. Garnish with orange peel or orange slice
  10. *Alternative: Instead of a martini glass, strain ingredients into a tall beer glass. This allows for more Redbull to be added, increasing the carbonation and giving a slightly more "refreshing" taste to the drink.
  11. **Use ONLY Redbull energy drink. Other energy drinks, e.g. Rockstar, etc. do not have the correct citrus flavor for this drink.
