Ingredients
  • 46 oz or more (large can) of vegetable juice - I got this at Walmart for $1.79 yesterday 6/25/2008
  • 1/2 ea small onion chopped in a food processor
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • black pepper
  • whatever else you want in it or nothing else

Directions
  1. Chop the onion fine in the food processor
  2. Mix well with the vegetable juice and Worcestershire sauce and add black pepper - as much or as little as you want
  3. Voila, you have Your Basic Bare Bones Gazpacho - it gets even better after a day or 2 in the fridge.
  4. And there are a wealth of other things you can add including such things as chopped celery, olive oil, mashed garlic, vinegar or lemon juice, chopped green pepper, croutons. etc, etc, etc
  5. I once made this recipe and used part of it as Gazpacho, made it into a salsa with a packet of salsa mix and used part of it for tacos and then used it for spaghetti sauce. How great is that???
