Pesto Sauce

- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 Tbsp romano cheese shopping list
- 1/8 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves, washed and dried shopping list
- 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 ounce pine nuts shopping list
How to make it
- In a blender combine basil, garlic and pine nuts and process while adding olive oil, until slightly gritty in texture. Transfer to a small bowl and add cheese and black pepper. Mix well and serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. When ready to use bring to room temperature before serving and remix.
