How to make it

  • In a bowl combine cheeses, eggs, flour, salt, nutmeg and 3 tablespoons butter.
  • Cover bowl and chill several hours or overnight removing from refrigerator an hour before using.
  • Cut filo into thirds then pile up filo and cover with wax paper and damp towel.
  • Take out one sheet at a time and keep the rest covered.
  • Butter the filo one sheet at a time using a pastry brush and the 1 cup melted butter.
  • Place 1 teaspoon filling 1” from end nearest you.
  • Fold filo back over filling so bottom edge meets left edge forming a right angle.
  • Continue folding back at right angles to make the triangular shape.
  • Bake at 350 for 25 minutes turning once then serve hot.
