How to make it

  • Pour boiling water over apricots in a bowl
  • Cover, and let stand overnight
  • Put apricots and juice in blender container with orange and sugar
  • Use medium speed until smooth
  • Stop frequently to scrape sides of container with spatula
  • Continue blending until mixture is the same even color throughout
  • Remove and place in a container
  • May be frozen or kept in refrigerator
  • Makes about 1-3/4 cups

    Rosemary this sounds great! My husband is the bread baker here and this will pair well with many of his breads. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if you could use other dried fruits as well?
