How to make it

  • Toast coconut and pecans in dry skillet over medium low heat. Stir frequently to avoid burning and cook until coconut is lightly browned.
  • In saucepan over medium heat ,combine milk and butter until thickened and darkens slightly, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.
  • Serve warm.
