How to make it

  • Use a wide pan or kawali. Place on medium heat and add oil and garlic. Cook until the garlic edges start to turn golden.
  • Put loosened rice into the pan and add the adobo sauce. Mix very well until all the grains are fully coated by the sauce.
  • In a bowl, mix together the sliced onions, tomatoes, green mango. Season with a little salt and pepper if desired.
  • Place steaming hot adobo rice in individual serving bowls. Top with green mango mix and adobo flakes.
