Adobo Rice

- For the adobo rice, you will need: shopping list
- 3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 4 cups cooked rice, loosened shopping list
- 1 cup adobo sauce shopping list
- 1 cup adobo flakes, toasted shopping list
- Green mango Topping: shopping list
- 1/3 cup thinkly sliced onions shopping list
- 2/3 cups chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 1 cup shredded green mango shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Use a wide pan or kawali. Place on medium heat and add oil and garlic. Cook until the garlic edges start to turn golden.
- Put loosened rice into the pan and add the adobo sauce. Mix very well until all the grains are fully coated by the sauce.
- In a bowl, mix together the sliced onions, tomatoes, green mango. Season with a little salt and pepper if desired.
- Place steaming hot adobo rice in individual serving bowls. Top with green mango mix and adobo flakes.
