How to make it

  • Pour extra strong coffee into ice cube trays and freeze for when needed. (I empty the trays into ziploc bags and make more so I have enough for a crowd.)
  • Fill about 2 cups of coffee ice-cubes into blender.
  • Fill to within 2" of the tops of the cubes with milk (I use skim or 1%).
  • Blend.
  • Add as much chocolate syrup as you like, to taste (I use the carnation brand syrup made for hot chocolate dispensing machines, but the other brands work too - more expensive though) and blend again. Serve and enjoy!
  • If you like you can add mint or other flavourings, chunks of chocolate, etc

Excuse my language, but this is bloody brilliant. Now I know what to do with my leftover decaf. Thank you, thank you.
