Moms Coffee Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix batter (first 4 ingredients) by hand. Do not use mixer.
  • Pour 1/2 batter mix into greased 9 x 13 pan.
  • Mix filling, sprinkle over batter.
  • Pour remaining batter on top of filling. Swirl with knife through batter and filling.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
  • Top with glaze drizzled over cake or instead of glaze sprinkle with more sugar, cinnamon and nuts. The toasted nuts on top are very good.
