How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425F
  • Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon well.
  • Gently blend in strawberries.
  • Place into bottom pie crust.
  • Dot filling with butter
  • Add top crust and seal and crimp well.
  • Make deep slits in top crust ( about 6 around side and smaller one in center. )
  • Bake 425 for 25 to 45 minutes or crust is golden and juices begin to bubble up through slits.
  • Cool and chill well before cutting
  • Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired
