How to make it

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of the milk with the custard powder in a bowl.
  • Boil remaining milk.When it comes to boil,add sugar.
  • Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • Slowly add the rest of the milk and custard powder mixture, and cook until it starts to thicken.
  • Remove from heat.Leave to cool.
  • Combine cooled custard,mango puree and cream in a large bowl,beat well.
  • Pour the mixture in a container and place it in the freezer for about 30 mins.
  • Remove from freezer and beat the mixture. Return to freezer for another 30 mins.
  • Repeat the process for about 3-4 times.Then add chopped pistachios and mangoes.
  • Allow the mixture to freeze over night. Scoop out the ice cream and serve immediately.
