Simple And Easy Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
Now that it is Blackberry picking time in Savannah, I thought I would include a recipe for a cobbler. Enjoy! Going to pick some fresh berries next week and putting together this yummie dessert.

Ingredients
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 1 Stick of butter
  • 1 Cup of self-rising flour
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1 1/2 Cups of blackberries

Directions
  1. In oven, melt 1 stick of butter in a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish.
  2. While butter is melting mix together the flour, sugar and milk. Pour the mixture over the melted butter. Do not stir. Pour the blackberries over the mixture. Do not stir.
  3. Place back in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  4. Enjoy topped with vanilla ice cream.
