How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place fillets onto a baking dish lined with tin foil.
  • Place onion and lemon slices on top.
  • Add a few pats of butter to each fillet.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Wrap another sheet of tin foil on top of fish to form a tent.
  • Place in oven and bake for about an hour or until fish starts to flake.

    This was an easy way to cook some salmon. I don't know why, but I could only taste butter in my salmon. No lemon or onion flavor made it into the fish. Mine was done after 50 minutes. I really liked the foil clean-up. Added a picture. A bit more in IMI

    I like the idea of the onion & lemon, but because I don't care for fish unless it is rare, I'd probably just cook it for about 10 minutes on high in the toaster oven.
