How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Stir in the okra, and season with cumin, ginger, coriander, pepper and salt.
  • Cook and stir for a few minutes, then reduce the heat to medium-low, and cover the pan.
  • Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until okra is tender

    I almost bought some okra the other day, but I didn't know what to do with it. So, why didn't you get this to me earlier? :) I'm calling into the shop when I'm in town next. I have not tasted okra before, but it looks nice and I know the flavors of the spices will be excellent. Thanks for the recipe.
