Ingredients
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3 tsp pistachio powder (or 3 tbsp sliced pistachios)

Directions
  1. Roast rice flour in a deep saucepan until just light pink. Add cardamom powder. Add milk slowly while stirring constantly. Wash and drain raisins, add to the rice/ milk mixture.
  2. Turn the heat to medium low and keep stirring occasionally until thickened. Add sugar, cook for another 5-10 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl, let cool slightly, garnish with pistachios.

Whata lovely recipe..it's a family favourite especially in Ramadaan,i usually add some rose syrup,to make it a delicatepink colour...yummy
