How to make it

  • 1. Boil Pork face till tender; slice thinly into cubes.
  • 2. Saute 1 pc. onion in butter and add the sliced pork face and the brain in a deep skillet.
  • 3. While sauteing, mix the liquid ingredients.
  • 4. Add the liquid mix in the pan. Simmer for about 15 mins.
  • 5. Serve in sizzling plate, garnish with Fried Pork skin and egg.

    HI Fatrasta! This is Johana from Manila! I love your recipe and I will try this. This looks more like for pulutan talaga. My version is Ilokano (my parents are from there) and its more suitable to eat with rice. What I do, I boil the ears and tongue then I grill quickly to crisp the skin, then cube it and add lots of onions, the boiled brains, vinegar, salt and pepper. Dont forget the sili labuyo of course :p. I will post this recipe soon. Thank you again for this delish recipe!

    This is definitely outside my box... I like that :-)

    I would try this dish, but I have no clue as to where to get the pork face and brain. Maybe the gang at the Oriental market will know.
