GARLIC AND OLIVE OIL ANGEL HAIR

- 2 BOXES angel hair pasta shopping list
- 3 CUPS extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- THE NEXT MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROX, I DON'T REALLY MEASURE ANYTHING: shopping list
- 4 TBSP MINCED garlic IN olive oil shopping list
- 1-1/2 TBSP COURSE ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 TBSP garlic pepper shopping list
- 2 TBSP italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 TBSP garlic salt shopping list
- 1 TBSP basil shopping list
- 1 TBSP parsley shopping list
How to make it
- COOK PASTA AS DIRECTED AND DRAIN WELL.
- WHILE WATER IS HEATING FOR THE PASTA ADD ALL OF THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS TO A LARGE SAUCE PAN.
- OVER MEDIUM HEAT, MIX INGREDIENTS WELL STIRRING OFTEN FOR THE FIRST 5 MINUTES.
- TURN HEAT DOWN TO LOW AND ALLOW THE SPICES TO INFUSE THE OIL, A GOOD 20 MINUTES. DON'T LET THE GARLIC TURN BROWN, TURN YOUR HEAT DOWN FURTHER IF THIS STARTS TO HAPPEN.
- MIX PASTA AND OIL MIXTURE, SERVE.
- YOU MIGHT WANT TO CUT THIS IN HALF FOR SMALLER GROUPS, I USUALLY PUT THIS IN THE CROCKPOT ON WARM AND TAKE TO POTLUCKS.
- A COUPLE OF VARIATIONS WE DO:
- ADD SHREDDED REAL PARMESAN CHEESE
- ADD SAUTEED CHICKEN BREASTS
- IT'S VERY VERSATILE, THERE'S A LOT YOU CAN DO WITH THIS, ENJOY!
