Original Dump Cake

- 1-14 oz can undrained, crushed pineapple shopping list
- 2-14 oz cans cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1- Double Layer White or Golden DRY cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 lb cold butter sliced very thin OR shopping list
- 1/2 lb butter melted** shopping list
- 1 lb coconut, Flaked or Desicated shopping list
- 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- In a greased non-metalic 9x13 baking dish, layer all ingreds in order given. DO NOT stir.
- ** If using melted butter, drizzle in a thin stream to cover as much of the cake powder as possible.
- Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or til top is lightly browned.
- Serve warm over Vanilla Ice Cream or cold with a drizzle of heavy cream.
- If you have to bake this in a metal pan, once the cake has cooled, move it into a glass or plastic dish. The pineapple re-acts with the metal and turns black where-ever it touches.
