How to make it

  • In a greased non-metalic 9x13 baking dish, layer all ingreds in order given. DO NOT stir.
  • ** If using melted butter, drizzle in a thin stream to cover as much of the cake powder as possible.
  • Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or til top is lightly browned.
  • Serve warm over Vanilla Ice Cream or cold with a drizzle of heavy cream.
  • If you have to bake this in a metal pan, once the cake has cooled, move it into a glass or plastic dish. The pineapple re-acts with the metal and turns black where-ever it touches.
