How to make it

  • In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.

    Simple and delicious. I doubled the recipe but left the sugar the same…just personal preference. I was drawn to the simplicity of this recipe and it is pure goodness… love the cinnamon. Next time I will add a bit more.
