How to make it

  • Mix cake by directions on box.
  • Pour half of the batter in a 9 x 13 inch oblong pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Melt butter and caramels with milk in saucepan; pour mixture
  • over cake.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of this mixture and add layer of nuts.
  • Pour remaining cake mix on top of this and bake for 20 minutes at 250 degrees.
  • Bake additional 10 min at 350 degrees.
