How to make it

  • Boil apples and sugar over low heat for 25 minutes.
  • Add gelatin, water, vanilla, orange, almond and nuts.
  • Pour into rectangular pan and cool then turn out onto wax paper when completely cooled.
  • Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar.
