Ingredients
  • 2 cups grated apples
  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 envelopes plain gelatin softened in 10 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons orange extract
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1-1/2 cups broken walnuts

Directions
  1. Boil apples and sugar over low heat for 25 minutes.
  2. Add gelatin, water, vanilla, orange, almond and nuts.
  3. Pour into rectangular pan and cool then turn out onto wax paper when completely cooled.
  4. Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar.
