How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Shape mix into 20 balls.
  • Place in ungreased 13"x9"x2" pan.
  • Bake uncovered about 20 minutes or until no longer pink in center; drain well.
  • Spicy Apricot Glaze
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/3 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
  • 1/4 Tbsp five-spice powder
  • Mix together in small saucepan.
  • Heat and pour over sausage.

    Hmmmm, you gave me an idea, what if I made the sausage, stuffed it in a casing and hot smoked it? Would it be overpowered by the smoke? I love pork and apricot and I can see making this just as written, but I'm jus' thinkin' out loud. Rare Friday off, and I'm loving it, can't you tell?
