Deep South BBQ Sauce Recipe
This sauce can be used on beef, pork, chicken or other meat.

Ingredients
  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 1-32 ounces apple cider vinegar
  • 1 ketchup 20 ounce bottle
  • 1/4-cup paprika
  • 1-pound brown sugar
  • 1/4-cup kosher salt
  • 1-tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh red pepper flakes
  • 1-tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

Directions
  1. In a large non-reactive container, thoroughly mix together all the ingredients.
  2. Pour into an empty jar, vinegar bottle, ketchup bottle or other storage device and store in the refrigerator for a month or more.

I agree this is a great sauce for any BBQ. We use the exact same except 1/4 tbls. liquid smoke.Man yeah it's good !


I do the same at different times. It depends on who is going to eat it. Some don't like the smoke flavor.


This recipe sounds kind of like the sauce that I make with my pulled pork (recipe listed). It is an acquired taste, but man is it good! Thank you for this!
