Green Tea and Cherry Ice

- 3 cups sour cherry juice shopping list
- juice of 2 limes shopping list
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar or Splenda granular (sugar used for NI) shopping list
- 3 bags green tea shopping list
How to make it
- Bring juices, ginger and sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, then remove from heat.
- Add green tea bags and let steep for 25 minutes.
- Strain into a shallow glass baking dish and cool to room temperature.
- Freeze one hour. Rake through mixture with a fork to break up the ice.
- Return to the freezer and repeat freezing and raking process until mixture is completely frozen and grainy - this takes about 6 hours.
