A mexican type hotdish served over chips and topped with cheese. I came up with this recipe when I wanted to make a filling meal with what I had cuz it was too cold & snowy to go to the grocery store. We came up with the name because of the noodles.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can large black olives
  • 2 pkg. taco seasoning (I use Ortega)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1-2 green pepper
  • Shredded Mexican cheese
  • 2 -3 pkgs. Ramen noodles (roast beef flavored)
  • Doritoes (Nacho cheese flavored)
  • Sour Cream (Optional)

Directions
  1. Brown hamburger & drain
  2. Add taco seasoning with water to hamburger and heat per package directions
  3. Chop green peppers, onion & black olives (as much or as little as you like)
  4. Break ramen into shorter pieces (I usually open the bag, remove the seasoning packet & then smash it up with my hand)
  5. Boil ramen noodles per directions on package
  6. After noodles are done boiling, add the ramen flavoring, seasoned hamburger, onions, green peppers and black olives
  7. Heat on medium until thickened then simmer
  8. Server over doritos
  9. Top with cheese
  10. Can also put a scoop of sour cream on top
  11. Serve
  12. Veggies, chips and cheese are to your own taste
  13. Start to finish took about 50 min.

I like this...thanks!

The name of the meal scared me Rae,
but it sounds good!

This my kind of food! Sounds very good.

Yummy. I know how it goes when you have to scrape something together because of the cold weather. This looks and sounds great. Thanks
