Seafarers Kamut Pasta

- 1/4 white onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable broth shopping list
- 3 oz raw shrimp, thawed if frozen shopping list
- 2 oz bay scallops or calamari pieces, thawed if frozen shopping list
- 2oz Kamut pasta (I reccomend Eden Organic's Kamut spaghetti) shopping list
- 1 tbsp shredded fresh basil shopping list
- hot pepper flakes, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat 1/4 cup water in a non-stick saucepan.
- Add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 3 minutes.
- Pour in broth and seafood and cook for 5 minutes, or until seafood is just opaque. Remove from heat.
- Meanwhile, bring large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook according to the package directions.
- Drain well, and toss with seafood mixture, basil, and pepper flakes.
