Three Layer Bars

- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 1 egg slightly beaten shopping list
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 small package vanilla pudding mix (not instant) shopping list
- 3 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 8 ounce bar milk chocolate cut into pieces shopping list
- 1 tablespoon graham cracker crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Grease a rectangular baking pan.
- In medium saucepan over low heat melt 1/2 cup butter and cocoa then remove from heat.
- Add vanilla and egg then mix well.
- Stir in 2 cups crumbs, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, coconut and nuts then mix well.
- Press mixture in bottom of prepared pan then refrigerate.
- In medium saucepan over low heat melt 1/2 cup butter.
- Blend in milk and pudding mix stirring constantly until mixture thickens about 5 minutes.
- Beat in powdered sugar until smooth then spread over crust and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- In small saucepan over low heat melt chocolate stirring constantly then spread over filling.
- Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon crumbs then refrigerate 15 minutes to set chocolate and cut into bars.
