These are now my husbands new favorite blueberry muffin too! Three were gone before I knew it. I also cut the sugar in half, used two tsp of flax and I used two bananas. When I put this into a calorie calculator I got 123 calories per muffin. Thanks for the healthy recipe!

I made these tonight for my toddler and husband. I halved the sugar, added a few tablespoons of ground flax, and used the fresh blueberries and lowfat banana vanilla yogurt I had on hand. They turned out amazingly well--moist, fluffy and very flavorful. Five disappeared within ten minutes of removing them from the oven! My husband said, "these are my new favorite muffins!" Next time I'll use even less sugar (they were noticably sweet with the banana and blueberry and I'd always prefer less sugar whenever possible).

I made these yesterday with my daughter and I have to say, I was really nervous at how thick the batter was. I thought, "oh, here I go again, making a super dense muffin that no one will eat". But I was pleasantly surprised! They are delicious! I absolutely love them. We sprinkled a bit of turbinado on top before baking. Also, we had a ton of fresh blueberries we needed to use so I subbed those for frozen. YUM! Also, I was curious to know how many calories and fat they had, which turns out to be 177 calories and 6 fat if you make 12 muffins from the batter. THANKS for posting!!!

These sound good and I like anything with banana in it. I've been on a "muffin kick" lately and this will be the next one that I try. Thanks for posting and thanks for the friend request. Looking forward to chatting with you.

Sounds similar to a muffin that I make my kids with bananas and chocolate chips. I like the addition of the yogurt! Sounds soooo tasty!
