Citrus Beef Stir Fry

- 2 large oranges shopping list
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry shopping list
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1 pound lean boneless beef trimmed of fat and cut across grain into 1/4" thick slices shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced ginger shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups bean sprouts shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups fresh pea pods ends and strings removed shopping list
How to make it
- Grate peel from 1 orange then squeeze juice from both oranges.
- Measure juice and if you have less than 3/4 cup add enough water to make it equal this amount.
- In small bowl stir peel, orange juice, sherry, soy sauce and cornstarch then set aside.
- Heat a wok over high heat then when pan is hot add beef and ginger.
- Cook stirring until beef is browned then with slotted spoon transfer beef to a bowl.
- Pour orange juice mixture into pan and bring to a simmer.
- Add bean sprouts and pea pods then cook stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- Mix in beef and serve over rice.
