How to make it

  • Combine all except the walnuts into a food processor.
  • Process until creamy and smooth.
  • Alternatively, mash together with a fork or potato masher until smooth; this takes longer and the result is not as creamy, but still good.
  • Scoop out the mixture and form into a ball.
  • If it's too mushy, chill a bit until you can form it better.
  • Roll this in the walnuts, coating it completely.
  • Place on a small plate and chill again, covered in plastic wrap, at least overnight or up to 2 days before serving.
  • Once started, keeps refrigerated 2-3 days more.
