Bulgogie Beef
From cameo55 15 years agoIngredients
- 2 lb. chuck or round (cut 1 1/2 to 2 inch thick) shopping list
- 4 T. salad oil shopping list
- 1/2 c. soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 T. vinegar shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 T. crushed sesame seeds shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne shopping list
- 1 green onion and top (sliced) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together and let marinate for at least 4 hours (I mix my beef in a glass pyrex dish with cover and marinate overnight). Can be fried in frying pan or cooked over barbecue rack. Serve over long grain brown rice, or your preference.
- NOTE: I cut my beef 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide and/or just thick enough to thread on skewers and cook over an open grill. To these skewers I add, green pepper, yellow pepper, red pepper, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, tomatoes, and shrimp. Baste with marinade (reserved) while cooking. Not only are these tasty but they look very pretty too. Nice for company. Serve over a bed of rice.
- Prepare your rice using "beef broth" as opposed to water for a little extra flavor.
