ITALIAN STYLE MEATLOAF Recipe
DIFFERENT TAKE ON MEATLOAF. MOIST AND JUICY, NOT DRY LIKE MEATLOAF CAN GET. ONCE AGAIN, I DON'T REALLY MEASURE ANYTHING, WE GO TOTALLY BY THE TASTE OF THINGS, YOU WILL HAVE TO JUDGE BY YOUR PREFERENCE.

Ingredients
  • 2 POUNDS GROUND BEEF
  • 1 POUND BULK PORK SAUSAGE
  • 1 ONION DICED
  • 2 EGGS
  • BREAD CRUMBS- MAYBE 1/2 CUP, JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP IT TOGETHER.
  • KETCHUP (WE LIKE A LOT)
  • MUSTARD
  • WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE (WE LIKE A LOT)
  • ITALIAN SEASONING (WE LIKE A LOT)
  • PARSLEY
  • GARLIC PEPPER (WE LIKE A LOT)
  • GARLIC AND HERB TOMATO SAUCE - LARGE CAN, HUNTS IS BEST.
  • 2 CUPS SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE

Directions
  1. COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT THE TOMATO SAUCE AND CHEESE IN A LARGE BOWL AND MIX WELL.
  2. FORM INTO LOAF AND PLACE IN LARGE GLASS COOKING DISH.
  3. BAKE AT 375 FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES.
  4. DRAIN EXCESS GREASE.
  5. ADD TOMATO SAUCE TO TOP OF MEATLOAF AND PUT BACK IN OVEN FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES.
  6. ADD CHEESE AND RETURN TO OVEN UNTIL MELTED WELL.
