Skillet lasagna

- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp. minced garlic, more if you like a lot of garlic like I do shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil shopping list
- 1 (26 oz.) jar Classico tomato and basil pasta sauce shopping list
- 1/2 ( 12 oz. ) pkg multigrain extra-wide egg noodles shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 cup shredded Italian six-cheese blend shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion and garlic in hot oil in a 1" skillet over medium heat 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in pasta sauce, egg noodles and 1 cup water.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low ans simmer, stirring occasionally 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is just tender and liquid is almost absorbed.
- Stir in salt and crushed red pepper.
- Stir together ricotta and 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
- Drop by heaping Tbsp. over pasta.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
- Cook, covered over low heat 5 minutes or until throughly heated and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with basil.
