Baked Pheasant with Rice

- 1 pheasant, cleaned and cut into serving size pieces shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
- flour shopping list
- cooking oil shopping list
- 1 (8 oz) pkg. rice shopping list
- 1 Tbsp onion flakes shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 can cream of celery soup shopping list
- 1 small can mushroom stems and pieces, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Season the pheasant pieces with salt and pepper. Roll in flour and brown in a small amount of oil in a heavy skillet.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Combine the onion flakes, soups, mushrooms with the rice.
- Place half of the mixture into a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Arrange the pheasant pieces on top of the rice mixture
- Combine the skillet drippings with the remaining rice mixture. Spoon over pheasant.. Bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes
