Sherbert Pie

This frozen dessert starts with a vanilla wafer crust and ends with a rum sauce. Keeps well and is delish.
Ingredients
- 1 vanilla wafer pie crust (or graham, or animal cracker, etc) shopping list
- 1 pt vanilla ice cream shopping list
- 2 pt any sherbert - 2 different flavors shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
- 6 oz orange juice concentrate shopping list
- lemon pie filling, 1 can shopping list
- 3 Tbsp rum shopping list
How to make it
- Place softened vanilla ice cream on top of crust. Refreeze.
- Place 1 flavor softened sherbert next. freeze
- Place 2nd sherbert nex. freeze
- Optional: Decorate with piped whipped cream around the sides.
- Place plastic wrap over the top and freeze.
- SAUCE: Heat and mix together the concentrate, lemon pie filling and rum. Pour over the pie when served.
