How to make it

  • Mix cream and syrup.
  • Bring to a boil and lower heat and simmer until reduced almost by half.
  • Add nutmeg, mustard, salt and pepper.
  • Stir and remove from heat.
  • Get olive oil good and hot in pan and sear scallops on both sides .
  • Cook and stir till tender being careful not to overcook., really only a few minutes oon each side
  • Pour sauce over scallops and dust with chopped dill.
  • I served these atop cooked pasta.
