Teriyaki Grilled Salmon Recipe
A easy week night supper. Fast and healthy. Add some veggie kabobs and your done!

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 4 4-ounce Alaska salmon steaks or fillets (4 to 6 ounces each)
  • 1 sheet (12 × 18 inch) Reynolds wrap heavy duty aluminum foil

Directions
  1. In a shallow baking dish, combine brown sugar, oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
  2. Place Alaska salmon steaks/fillets in a baking dish. Turn fish over several times to coat; refrigerate 30 to 45 minutes.
  3. Remove salmon from marinade.
  4. Cook on foil sheet on medium hot grill, turning once during cooking, about 6 to 12 minutes per inch of thickness.
  5. Do not overcook.
  6. ENJOY.....

This sounds easy enough...Ive never felt comfortable cooking salmon for some reason....


Salmon, Tuna, Shark and Redfish are so easy... I have problems with others as they end up down in the grates! Do you use gas or charcoal?


This is just what I was looking for, but.......
where's the brown sugar in the list of ingredients? How much do I use? Don't wanna over or underdo it. Would like to make this tonight.

Alterations


Sorry... I did not state on the brown sugar! I started out with about a tablespoon heaped... that was way to sweet for my taste... I don't measure what I use.. so I would say about a heaping teaspoon... Go by taste... taste the sauce BEFORE you put it on the fish... Enjoy! Thanks for the heads up glot51!
