How to make it

  • : Place rack in center of 350 degree oven. Lightly oil and flour 10 inch tube pan.
  • Place cake mix, cream cheese, eggs, water, sugar, oil, vanilla and almond in large mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat 2 minutes more. Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing batter.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes or until done. Cool 20 minutes on wire rack. Loosen around edge and invert onto serving plate.
  • Slice cake while it is still a little warm.
  • Store cake at room temperature up to 1 week, or in freezer up to 6 months.
