These spooky little biscuits make a great companion for all fall dishes. Just add a few to a soup or stew, and you have a wonderful, hearty, and cozy dish that your family will just love.

Ingredients
- 5 c. Flour
- 1 c. Ground Oatmeal
- 4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/3 tsp. Baking Soda
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Cooking Oil
- 2 c. Buttermilk (1 1/2 c. milk and 1/2 c. vinegar)
- 2 pkg. (4 1/2 tsp.) dry yeast in 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 Eggs
Directions
- The parentheses are alternatives if you don't have the ingredients.
- Now, sift all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add liquids and mix well.
- Knead slightly on a surface covered in ground oatmeal.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour in a covered bowl.
- Pinch off amount wanted and roll out, or pat out, to about 1/2 in. on a surface covered in ground oatmeal.
- Bake for about 5 min or until they puff up on a greased pan at 350 degrees.
- Beat eggs, and brush on biscuits.
- Finish baking until golden brown.
