Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 11 ounce can mandarin oranges with juice
  • 8 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 4 eggs beaten with a fork
  • Frosting:
  • 8 ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding dry
  • 11 ounce can mandarin oranges drained and chopped save 10 whole segments for garnish
  • 8 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice

Directions
  1. Grease and flour 3 cake pans.
  2. Mix cake ingredients with electric beater for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour batter in equal amounts into cake pans then bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
  4. Cool 10 minutes in pan then remove cakes from pans and cool completely.
  5. Mix frosting ingredients well and frost the top only of a cake layer.
  6. Add next layer and frost it then add the final layer and frost it.
  7. Arrange the whole orange segments in a circle near the edge of the top layer.
  8. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
