Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place blossoms in a strainer, rinse under cold water.
  • Combine blossoms, water and sugar in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Strain and discard blossoms.
  • Cover and chill.
  • Combine hibiscus mixture, tequila, juice and Triple Sec.
  • Serve over ice.
  • Garnish with lime slices

    Wonderful idea; sounds like a great taste combination. I bet that you could use Hibiscus Herbal Tea bags in a pinch. There is a herbal tea (tisane actually since there is no "tea" in it)that I buy that is Rose Hips and Hibiscus Blossoms from a company called Messmer Tea Company.
