Olive Tapenade Recipe
This is a recipe I have made numerous times. Yummy served as a dip with crudites and/or bread, or as a sandwich spread.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup chopped peperoncini (no stems or seeds)
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup good olive oil

Directions
  1. Put all ingredients in food processor, except olive oil.
  2. Slightly chopped, stir in oil.
  3. Keep refrigerated for 2 days to fuse flavors.

This looks different than other versions of tapenades, And, it has artichoke hearts, what's not to like?
