Swedish Green Potatoes Recipe
Don't know why it's called swedish but this is a delicious change of pace potato dish !

Ingredients
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 3/4 cup light cream
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbs chopped chives
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • 1 pkg frozen spinach thawed and chopped, cooked and well drained

Directions
  1. Cook potatoes and mash.
  2. Add butter, seasonings and stir in well drained spinach.
  3. Serve at once or put in a baking dish and bake 350 until well heated.

Different easy good thanks


The Scandinavians cook with alot of butter and cream. Paula Deen did not come up with the idea. The Swedes also use dill alot too. You betcha. L.
