Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel potatoes while warm & break into pieces with a fork
  • sprinkle with salad dressing
  • mix in onions and eggs
  • in a small bowl mix together the mayo with everything else
  • add ingredients to taste, not too sweet nor too sour
  • Gently mix into potato mixture
  • optional add-ons: dill pickles and/or their juice; garlic, parsley, cilantro, olives, chunks of cheddar cheese; actually: whatever you love
  • flavors blend nicely so salad is maybe even better the next day
  • NOTE: the secrets are (1) rough cut of the potatoes; this allows more of the dressing flavor to soak in; (2) adding the salad dressing to the warm potatoes. This makes the whole salad way more flavorful. In fact, no matter what recipe you use for a potato salad, just make sure to use these 2 tips and it'll be even better.

I have never tried salad dressing in potato salad so I am doing this one for my Sunday dinner. I never measure anything when I cook something that I have been doing for years so the amounts is no problem for me.Sounds delicious
